Coming Soon: Important Updates to Your Vidanova e-Banking Experience
Dear Valued Customer,

As highlighted in Notice # 2024-033 dated November 14, 2024, we are pleased to provide more details about one of the most significant updates coming to your Vidanova e-Banking experience: the new FDA Authenticator. This embedded authentication system will replace the standalone Entrust Token, streamlining transaction security for a seamless and modernized banking experience.

Key Benefits of FDA Authenticator:

  • Integrated Convenience: The FDA Authenticator is embedded directly into the Vidanova Mobile Banking application, eliminating the need for a separate token device or software.
  • Flexibility in Authorization: Authorizations can now be performed via biometrics, PIN, or OTPs, all through the mobile app, simplifying the process without compromising security.

How It Works:

  • Transactions from Registered Devices: Authorize transactions quickly and securely by entering your PIN or using biometrics within the app.
  • Unregistered Devices and Web Access: During your first login, it will be mandatory to register your device to use the Vidanova mobile banking application. If you choose not to register your device, you can still access e-Banking through the web browser. Push notifications will be sent for transaction approvals initiated via the web, while registered mobile devices can authorize transactions using PIN or biometrics for added convenience.
  • Time-Based OTPs: The system generates and validates one-time passwords (OTPs) that are only valid for a limited time and are tied to specific transaction details. This ensures that the OTPs can only be used for that particular transaction and within a short time frame, providing an additional layer of security for the transaction process.

This enhancement is part of our commitment to provide you with a secure and convenient digital banking platform. The FDA Authenticator makes transactions faster, safer, and simpler—revolutionizing your Vidanova e-Banking experience.
