Reminder: Upcoming Transition to the Caribbean Guilder (XCG)
Dear Valued Customer,

This is a friendly reminder that the official transition to the Caribbean Guilder (XCG) will take place on the evening of Monday, March 31, 2025, through the early morning of Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

Please take note of the following important details:

  • System Maintenance Window:
    – Begins: Monday, March 31 at 19:30 AST (GMT -04:00)
    – Ends: Tuesday, April 1 at 09:00 AST (GMT -04:00)

During this period, the following services will be temporarily unavailable:
Vidanova e-Banking, Vidanova Mobile Banking, ATM Terminals, POS Terminals, and Mastercard Debit Cards.

  • Early Branch Closure:
    – On March 31, 2025, our branch will close to the public at 12:00 noon to prepare for the transition.
  • Service Resumption:
    – Our branch reopens at 08:00 AST (GMT -04:00) on April 1.
    – Vidanova e-Banking and Mobile Banking will be available as of 09:00 AST (GMT -04:00).
    – The ATM at our bank building will dispense XCG as of April 1, with other locations following throughout the day.
  • Currency Exchange Policy (Effective April 1, 2025):
    – ANG cash must be deposited before withdrawal in XCG or other currencies.
    – No direct cash exchange of ANG to XCG or other currencies.
    – Only clients may perform currency exchanges.
    – ANG cash deposits will be free of charge until June 30, 2025.
    – ANG will no longer be disbursed after April 1, 2025.
