Reminder: Mastercard Debit Card Functionality Updates
Dear Valued Customer,

Please take note of the following changes applicable for the Vidanova Bank debit card. Effective March 10, 2025, we implemented the following changes:

1. Cash Withdrawal Fees:

  • Cash withdrawals at other Local & Int’l ATMs will now incur a fee of XCG 4.77.
  • Cash withdrawals at Vidanova Bank ATMs will continue to be charged a fee of XCG 1.06.

2. Purchases and Account Holds:

  • In line with the current process for international purchases, local purchases will now also have a HOLD* placed on your account until the settlement and clearing process is completed. Once the purchase posts to your account, the hold will be released. For more detailed explanation, please click here.

*HOLD refers to the temporary reservation of funds in your account to cover the amount of a purchase until the transaction is fully processed and cleared.
