Information Security Officer

Tasks and responsibilities

• Maintain the Information Security framework and underlying policies, procedures, standards and guidelines to be in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Ensuring appropriate administrative, physical and technical safeguards are in place to protect information assets from internal and external threats.
• Manage and assist in performing ongoing security monitoring of information systems including assessing and accurately reporting of information security risks on a regular basis.
• Provide advisory services and act as the focal point for information Security compliance related activities and responsibilities.
• Ensure effective staff training programs are in place to increase security awareness across the organization.

Background and competences

• HBO degree computer science and/or information security;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant field;
• Familiar with financial institution;
• Problem solving and analytical skills;
• Ability to multitask;
• Team player;
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
